The subject of this installation is about the food we consume every day. The inspiration came from recycling paints that were left behind from many sessions of painting. Using colors that are dry out, used brushes, rags, etc to create 8 dishes set on a table: namely Salad, Spaghetti, Potpie, Dumpling, Lasagna, Pizza, and jello. Each name refers to one of our emotions in a negative way: Ego, desire, anger, attachment, greed, jealousy and lust. Finally, a good resolution is at the end as a cup of Enlightenment tea- full of emptiness. The punch line in every dish should help the audience to go deeper in this installation.
After all, We are what we eat!
